Now before we go to the answer on what are the basic environmental standards of a Refurbisher. Lets ask ourselves on what is an environmental standard? Environmental Standard is a set of quality conditions that are adhered or maintained for a particular environmental component and function. The different environmental activities have different concerns and therefore different standards.

Now to go back to the question on what are the Refubishers Environmental Standards? Reusetek is a proud member of MAR or a Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher which by means the program is for large refurbishers who meet a minimum average threshold of 1,000 PCs shipped per month.

And as the years move along people are becoming stingier due to unexpected high prices of day-to-day needs like food, and even gas. Many of the consumers, schools, hospitals, and other non–profit can’t afford to have a new computer or any other Electronics. The reason why Reusetek offers consumers, businesses, schools, hospitals, and other institutions a comparatively low-cost way to buy PCs.

According to EHP (Environmental Health Perspectives) the researchers analyzed 373 toxic waste sites in India, Indonesia and the Philippines, where an estimated 8.6 million people are at risk of exposure to lead, asbestos, hexavalent chromium and other hazardous and toxic materials. Among those people are at risk, the exposures could cause a loss of around 829,000 years of good health as a result of disease, disability or early death.

By buying refurbished computers, laptop, or any other electronics is that you are not just taking out one of those computers that are dumped and not properly processed and that are dangerous and can cause a massive explosion anywhere in the world and can affect serious health conditions, but you are helping to make the environment uninhabited or making the world less of pollution.

Long story short is that we do our part to make the world a better place by not dumping any hazardous waste to third-world countries.

Are you proud to be one of those irresponsible human being?
